Monmouthshire County Council is inviting residents to take part in its 2026 Resident Survey and share their views on everyday life in the county.

Whether you've lived here for years or have recently moved to the area, we'd love to hear about your experiences of living in Monmouthshire, the services you use, and what matters most to you and your community.

The survey covers a range of topics, including the quality of the local environment and satisfaction with services such as education, social care, transport, recycling, libraries, and leisure centres.

The survey is hosted by the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) as part of the National Residents Survey, which helps councils better understand residents' experiences, perceptions, and priorities.

This is the third year Monmouthshire County Council has taken part in the survey. You can view a summary of the 2025 survey results here: www.letstalkmonmouthshire.co.uk/resident-survey-2025

You can complete the survey online, download a paper copy, or pick one up from your local Community Hub, Library, or Leisure Centre. You can also return completed paper surveys to these locations.

How your data will be used

Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) is running this survey on behalf of Monmouthshire County Council. Information that could identify you will be seen by Monmouthshire County Council and WLGA only. This information will be held for 3 years from the date the survey closes in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR). Your IP address will be collected to help identify duplicate or inappropriate responses.
