Let’s talk about playgrounds in the Chepstow area
Play isn’t just fun; it’s essential for our children’s development and growth. It nurtures confidence, builds resilience, and boosts self-esteem, all while fostering closer relationships within families and communities.
Monmouthshire County Council has been allocated a portion of the £5million that the Welsh Government has allocated for enhancing playgrounds and play facilities.
Following a review of local data and funding criteria, two parks in Chepstow have been identified for improvement.
Now we would like to hear your views on the upgrades. Your views will help us understand the needs and preferences of the local communities.
Although the funding is limited, our goal is to maximise its impact and deliver play areas that meet the diverse needs of children.
Public Drop-in session
Join us at Chepstow Rugby Club from 10:30am to 12:00pm on Thursday, 14 August, to speak with officers about the developments at Western Avenue and Bulwark parks.
Consultation closes midnight on Friday 19 September, 2025.
