Monmouthshire County Council is seeking your views to inform our proposed Cultural Strategy for Monmouthshire 2025-2035.

In this consultation we want to hear from people who already participate in cultural activities as well as those who don't. To capture the views of residents as well as of visitors to the area, from local creatives and anyone who is interested in the future of our cultural environment in Monmouthshire.

Our aim is to create a cultural strategy to drive positive change across the county and to make culture (arts, crafts, music, drama, dance, history, etc.) more inclusive, accessible and visible for everyone in Monmouthshire.

Culture is a shared, creative experiences where we express, learn and reflect on our history, place, social issues and personal lives. These experiences can improve well-being, strengthen communities and develop vital life skills for employment and a better quality of life.

We have set out an ambitious, considered action plan and we will only successfully deliver on the priorities in the strategy if we work in partnership to enable this to happen. A collaborative approach to cultural provision will directly benefit our communities, visitors, and the local economy.

Please share your views via the survey below no later than 5pm on Friday 25th July.
